The Anointed House of Rescue
Haven house for vulnerable and marginalized women and children...have a place to come because…
"He the Lord has brought them out to a spacious place (7 BEDROOMS, 2 kitchens, and much more) He rescued them because He delights in them." Psalm 18:19
We're sorry for the delay in getting the newsletter out this quarter. Thank you for your continued prayers and support that sustained us in our coming and going to Michigan for the celebration of life service of our patriarch, David Patrick Sr, who transitioned on February 14. It was so gracious of the Lord to take this loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to heaven while holding the hand of his dear sweetheart of 78 years at the age of 97 years. Dave had the privilege of leading several family members and friends in the prayer of salvation at the family re-pass meal after the service.
Following the funeral, we left for South Africa to attend to the business and ministry side of our new assignment - The Anointed House of Rescue - which by the way is located less than 5 min away from The Union Bible Institute where we served as TEAM missionaries for many years. It is of the Lord an honor to still serve Him in a unique continued mission assignment. As a testimony to the Lord, we have heard all who enter the haven remark....."The Lord is in this place!"
"He has never failed me yet." Vocals by Marj Patrick, Diana, Dawn, and Daniele
EVERY MOTHER deserves a Mother's Day that is faith-filled and blessed. I'll always treasure times singing this song with our girls' Diana, Dawn, and Daniele, all over Africa. I remain eternally grateful to be given the privilege to be used by the Lord in partnership with the South African Department of Social Development as well as our global community for this new ministry venture - The Anointed House of Rescue as a haven to provide pastoral care and trauma counseling, practical assistance with empowerment programs offered by S.A. Lifeline. With your help, we can join efforts and continue to be a global clarion voice to help break the "cycles of abuse" in any form for one woman, one child, and one nation at a time.
All gifts are tax deductible and urgently needed. ZELLE David Patrick davemarj.dp@gmail.com
I don't know what the future holds
I don't know about today
But I know who holds my hand
And I know He leads the way
Come what may from day to day
I will never stray
For the Lord is good to me
He has never failed me yet
Tomorrow might find me broke without a dime
But I'm not worried the Lord will step right in on time
I might be friendless, left all by myself
But as long as I have got a friend in the Lord
I don't need no body else
Come what may from day to day
I will never stray
For the Lord is good to me
He has never failed me yet X2
For the Lord is good to me
He has never ......failed .......me ..... yet
